Important Information

Check-in and Check-out Procedures

  • Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is by 10am.
  • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager), or entry information cannot be sent.

Property Access

  • The access road to this home is right beside the Valle Crucis School; during pickup or drop off times, access to the home may take a few moments longer than usual.
  • This home offers relatively flat and easy access from the main road. However, 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter months. It is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather.

Policies and Rules

  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of the deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • House Rules: No smoking allowed. Minimum age: 25 years. Children allowed. No events allowed.

Fees and Payments

  • This home is pet friendly. Pet fee: $25 per day, per dog (limit: two mature, well-trained dogs).
  • Firewood for the outdoor fire pit may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax.
  • All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Parking Information

  • Parking space for up to 3-4 vehicles.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Towels and linens are provided.
  • Well-stocked kitchen with utensils, cooking basics, refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, stove, oven, toaster, ice-maker, and basic dishes & silverware.
  • High-speed internet available.
  • Clothes washing machine and dryer available.
  • There is a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
  • Hair dryers are not provided.

  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals.

Other Critical Details

  • Please note that due to the home's age, it features some unique characteristics. The ceiling height on the upper level is just under 7 feet, so taller individuals may need to take care when moving through this area.
